Ata Herrera is a product-minded AI engineer and frontend integration specialist with more than 15 years of experience building production software across SaaS, AI, mobile, and cloud platforms. At Old Country AI, he leads frontend and integration engineering initiatives, helping translate complex AI and data infrastructure into scalable systems enterprise teams can use with confidence. His work focuses on connecting modern interfaces, orchestration layers, and backend services into cohesive AI products designed for real-world operations.
Ata brings deep expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, LangChain, and cloud-native infrastructure, with a strong focus on modular, production-ready architecture. Prior to Old Country AI, he served as Product Engineer & AI Specialist at Trama, where he helped build AI agent platforms that automated operational and sales workflows through multi-agent orchestration systems and WhatsApp integrations. He previously led development of AI automation tools at Aries Solutions using Python, FastAPI, LangChain, and AWS Lambda, building scalable serverless workflows for enterprise automation.
Earlier in his career, Ata held senior frontend and mobile engineering roles at Greener and Tarmac, where he built cross-platform applications and shared infrastructure libraries using React Native and Expo. Alongside leadership roles, he has also worked extensively as a full-stack consultant across fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS. At Old Country AI, his focus is on building AI systems that combine strong engineering foundations with practical usability, helping organizations integrate advanced AI capabilities into everyday business workflows.
