Dan Gurman
Dan Gurman is the Founder and CEO behind Nomikos, an AI legal platform built for in-house legal teams and the stakeholders who depend on them. His focus is straightforward: help legal organizations move faster on high-volume work without compromising confidentiality, control, or defensibility—especially in regulated, high-stakes environments.
Dan brings an expert legal mind shaped by 15+ years in Big Law, including at Ropes & Gray and Covington & Burling, where he advised on intellectual property, technology transactions, and M&A. That experience trained him to think the way legal buyers think—risk-first, evidence-driven, and accountable—and to build tools that hold up in real practice, not just in demos. It also gives him rare fluency across legal, technical, and executive audiences, which matters when legal, IT, and the business all need to align.
He has also led AI and business strategy inside a publicly traded R&D company (Xperi/Adeia), bringing firsthand experience deploying advanced technology in enterprise environments where security, scale, procurement scrutiny, and trust are non-negotiable. With Nomikos, Dan is applying that background to create legal-grade AI workflows designed to be auditable, reliable, and aligned with how legal teams actually work—so customers can adopt AI confidently, earn internal buy-in, and realize measurable operational impact.
